Who: The Men (and Woman) In Black... that aren't actually wearing black.
What: Agent K is down. SEND OUT THE SEARCH AND RESCUE DOGS! Or complex villains.
When: Friday, late afternoon/evening.
Where: In the woods near Dean's old house.
Warnings: Crazy?
Status: In progress
It really hadn't been any kind of stupid mistake on Kevin's part that had gotten him into this predicament. Well, okay, maybe walking and writing in a journal (not his magical journal, his character building journal) was a bit foolish. But he had thought he was paying attention.
Until it had started to get dark. And then there had been a particularly tricky rock that was in a bunch of gravel that didn't look like it could trip him, at least when it was in his peripheral vision.
Then there had been a horrible moment in which he almost hadn't been able to catch himself because his hands were occupied, until his survival instinct had kicked in and said FUCK SAVING YOUR JOURNAL - PROTECT YOUR FACE! Or maybe it was his reflexes. Either way, his knees and elbows had been the ones taking the beating, and a bit of his right hip. Damn.
One interesting quirk about Kevin's personality (or physiology) was that he didn't handle bleeding well. It didn't matter about the quantity of blood, just something about it made him go into a state of slightly more delusion than usual. Probably because he got light-headed and felt like no blood was going to his brain. It had nothing to do with the actual injury.
Thankfully, now, he had friends to come and get him. And the journal he'd been carrying under his arm, the one he hadn't been writing in but had brought along for fun, had turned out to be an excellent way of calling for their help.
Now he was sitting on another rock entirely, somewhere surrounded by woods with no discernible landmarks (the dark was definitely not helping in that respect) and yelling about roaches, which would make anyone but Su and Dean think he was crazy. Crazy enough to, hopefully, stay away. The last thing he wanted when he was injured and lost and slightly delirious was to have to deal with a stranger who may or may not be Edgar in disguise, or at least drinking the roach alien juice.
"STAY AWAY, ROACHES!" he yelled, not really sure what he was saying, or whether he was making any sense at all. He just kept saying 'roaches' in every sentence so that they would know it was him, even if they couldn't recognize his voice. It made some kind of sense to him, right then. "I'LL SQUISH YOU WITH MY BOOT AND MAKE ROACH SOUP FOR DINNER! I'LL... I'LL SUCK YOUR ROACH BLOOD! Ew, no. Um..."
After a moment of trying to come up with something else about roaches that didn't utterly disgust him, he just tried, "AGENT D! ROACHES! LADY MORGUE! ROACHES!"
