"That's true, I'm not," Su replied with a smile. "Neither are you."
She had almost started to frown when he moved his arm, but the opposite one quickly took his place. And then his free arm was around her shoulders, and she certainly wasn't complaining about that. If anything, she just made a soft, contented noise and shifted a bit closer. This was definitely comfortable, and very nice.
"No, this isn't silverware." Then she frowned. "Don't talk about food. It's too early to make me hungry and I don't want to get out of bed yet, whether we're away or not..." She tilted her head to look up at him, wrinkling her nose for a second. "New subject. Or new old subject. Does this mean I get to finish my experiment now?" She yawned again. "I think... I think I forgot what the purpose of the experiment was. I think it was originally to discern what you taste like, but now I can't decide if that morphed into my other purpose or if it was always both purposes, or if one purpose was hiding behind the other purpose. You know, the word purpose sounds like porpoise. Isn't that interesting? Unrelated, but interesting."
