Kevin wasn't really awake until she yelled at him. Even then, for a moment, he was sure it was part of a dream. He was so cozy in his dream world, wrapped in cotton candy clouds that were somehow incredibly warm instead of light and airy.
But no, it wasn't a dream. Su was awake, and yelling at him. "M'cold," he said plaintively, voice muffled by blankets.
They should probably get more blankets, if it was going to be this cold. Even with the two of them in the bed, it had been really cold that night, and the blanket tug-of-war hadn't helped.
