Who: Dean, Kevin, & Seamus...(It's a party!) What: Meetings after far too long When: Monday afternoon Where: On the road & Brighton Beach Warnings: TBA Status: In progress
Dean had been a little mentally distracted for most of the morning...He would feel poorly for Kevin later. He wondered if he could keep up with his thought process at all. He doubted even he could. In fact, he'd forgotten a good portion of what he'd actually rambled on about. He was sure, however, that the cat was fed and watered before they left. That much Kevin had checked into. He watched him during one of his quiet moments. Then they'd been on the road and he'd been quiet for as long as he could stand before he started rambling and rambling about things that he didn't remember much of again. He figured it had stuff to do with Seamus and school and things that involved Seamus. He couldn't sit still the whole time.
Now they were closer than before, almost there even, and he was starting to sober up. It somehow felt more real, more likely to happen, more...likely to go wrong. He'd been working himself up to some eventual plan of telling Seamus about things...but if Seamus didn't like him, how was he meant to go through with that? Well, they were best friends. It should be alright, right? What if it wasn't, though? "Kevin?" He glanced towards his friend for a moment. "What if...he doesn't like me and all this revelation stuff...was, in a way, for nothing?" Revelations about one's interest in one's friend seemed a bit useless if one's friend didn't like you back.
"Want to have that conversation about the pros and cons of hugs now?"
