Who: Chastity & Heather (possibly Barty later, IDK) What: The cat finally catches her mouse! Where: Eventually an abandoned house. When: Tuesday morning. Warnings: Blood, violence, torture, etc! Status: In Progress!
Today really wasn't a good day to be the person Chastity Montgomery was hunting. A failed hunt last night, and the realization that she'd been failing at her job (even if the way by which said realization had come had been enjoyable) had put her into a very foul mood. It was, however, the sort of foul mood that made Chas absolutely determined to find her little mouse, and to make her pay for every bit of frustration she was currently feeling.
Waking up with the itch to hunt deep in her bones, she'd only taken enough time to make sure her sister was alright before heading out to hunt. Armed with the information she'd gotten from the Seer at the Ministry yesterday, and dressed in her usual jeans, shirt and boots, she headed to the Cafe where the witch had last been spotted. It hadn't taken long to find people that had seen her, and since she had arrived around the same time as the sighting had taken place, it was rather easy to follow her path away from the cafe, speaking to shopkeepers and other people who tended to be out and about around the same time every day. The woman with the scarf wrapped around her head hadn't been hard to miss, and for that Chas couldn't help but grin.
The witch was good, Chastity had to admit that (had she not been, Chas would have found her weeks ago), but Chas was brilliant at what she did. It had taken a good couple hours for her to follow the trail, and in the end she'd been forced to rely on magic at one or two points (using spells to track an apparition and any other magic use), but in the end she thought she'd found her little mouse.
Wand gripped tightly in her hand, Chastity approached the abandoned house from a distance, staying in the shadows of a nearby building to observe it at first from a distance. Silently, she tried to sense any spells which might be surrounding the place, even as her eyes glanced from window to window, searching for any hint of the mouse as well as her best bet to make a quiet entrance. Once she'd figured out her best option, she'd make her move, and try to catch the little mouse unawares.
