"I don't know," Ginny said honestly, but then added, "I don't think so. He likes you, and he knows how important my family is to me." She honestly thought that Harry always understood how important family was, especially considering his own. "I'll ask him if you can stay with us, maybe for a few days and then... Oh!" Eyes lighting up slightly with her idea, Ginny added, "I still have my old flat. I mean, the rent is paid for at least a few more months. If you want, you can stay there? There's two bedrooms so Toire can have her old room, and there aren't any memories there, either." Then she smiled softly at his comment about the Burrow and added, "I love Mum to bits, but sometimes she is just too much, especially when you want to be left alone."
Letting him lean against her a bit, Ginny exhaled a slow breath. "Alright, we'll try that, then, having her over for a day. And you can decide if you want her to spend the night or not." Her brow furrowed faintly and Ginny felt her heart clench again at Bill's request. Nodding, she swallowed hard before she managed to reply, "Of course. I can get you a chain, if you want? Or a leather thong, so you can wear it around your neck. Better than string, at least."
