Alec nodded, deciding to sit down and get a drink before he discussed it any further, even though he was interested. He sort of admired Terrence and Ella for their tenacity and wished he could say the same for himself. "You certainly went big," he agreed, grinning and shaking his head as he fixed himself a drink. "That's for damn sure. If I wasn't probably just going to move in with my codependent twin spouses I'd be looking for a place just like this." He laughed a bit at his own joke and then turned his attention back to T again. "So how've you been since...that? Laying low, I assume, staying out of trouble?" He could feel himself starting to relax a little even already. He knew it was his and Melinda's own fault that they were in the situation they were, but it felt good to let some of the stress go. "I feel like I've been locked in my house forever. Longest month of my life. The media is going mental of course, and I'm just over in my corner trying to pretend that I don't exist. The usual, for me, I suppose. " He was going to need another drink soon. Where had all the alcohol gone out of his glass already?
