Rae felt like she had come out of the war relatively unscathed. Perhaps it was because she'd already gotten through her parents' murders and so it w as easier to handle the battle she had not been in, or maybe it was because she hadn't been involved in the battle, hadn't seen what everyone else had seen. Besides, she still had her siblings and Duke was alright aside from his ear...all in all, her outlook on it was that it could have been far worse. The worst part of it for her was the uncertainty surrounding the fates of a few people she cared about. Like Duke and Draco.
She nodded, though, and said, "Thank you. I feel well, for the most part, so that's something." She glanced over at Draco and assessed his well-being but found him nearly as difficult to read as he always had been. "And how are you?" She'd already given her condolences for the loss of his father but she wasn't going to bring it up again. In her experience, she'd preferred not to talk about losing her parents and hadn't liked it when people constantly asked how she was dealing with it. "I heard the Quidditch league will be announcing the location of next year's World Cup any day now." It wasn't an attempt to change the subject or anything, she'd just thought of Draco when she'd read the press release.
