It had been a very long day at the Ministry, and Harry was exhausted, but his mind was wide awake. He had been thinking about the things he'd found in Godric's Hollow, what they might mean, remembering the words in his parents' notes - to each other, to themselves, and to him. He had slept lightly the night before for thinking about it, not because it was upsetting or troubling in any way - in truth, it was one of the nicest things that had happened to him recently - but because there was just so much to think about.
Hopefully Lupin would be able to shed some light on it, answer some of his questions. If he couldn't, at least he'd get to see the things too; Harry was sure that Lupin missed his parents, especially his father, at least as much as he himself did. More, perhaps, because he'd had years to get to know them, for them to become a part of his life. For Harry, they'd always been missing, or at least as long as he could remember.
He'd asked Tonks if he could come home with her, and after spending a little bit of time with them both, drew Lupin aside to sit down with him. "I have something to show you," he explained with a little smile. Not that it was a secret from Tonks - he didn't mind if she hung around to see, too - but it was Lupin he had questions for. "I went back to Godric's Hollow," he added, taking the capsule out from under his cloak, "And I found this. Did you know my parents made this?"
