Who: Luna Lovegood - Open What: Delivering papers Where: All around Hogsmeade. When: Thursday morning Warnings: Doubtful
The Quibbler came out today, and Luna promised her father that she would help deliver papers. Normally there were owls to do that sort of thing, but honestly Luna wanted out of the house. She wasn't sure why, but she'd been feeling quite lonely as of late. Sure, she was there with her father and all, but he kept bringing up the fact that he wouldn't be around forever. He wondered when she was going to start living her life instead of looking after an old man. The truth was that Luna didn't know.
She was getting her memories back, and they weren't as nice as she thought they would be. She'd been avoiding people for a long time. And it wasn't her doing. Now it was like she was completely disconnected. Of course she saw Harry, and he'd been nice. But it was obvious. Everyone had moved on. She was out of sync. It was like not having friends again. Normally Luna didn't mind, but this time she did.
It was crushing. She'd never had friends before and now that they were essentially all busy getting their lives back, there wasn't room for her. Half of her friends from before were all dead anyway, and she didn't know what to do. So she left the house when she could and delivered newspaper. However if it was one thing that Luna was good at, it was putting on a smiling face and acting as if nothing bothered her.
Putting down a stack of newspapers in one store, she went to move to the other one.
