A lot of people would have probably though Dennis was joking about his aspirations in life. But he wasn't. Not fully, at least. He knew it was completely implausible for him to aspire to be a jedi. Not with his interests that he had no intention of giving up. He liked sneaking about, snatching things, feeling the adrenaline rush. He knew it wasn't what most people would consider morally sound, but he enjoyed it. And he only intended to get better. Which was where the pirate bit did come in. Pirates were renowned for seeking out treasure, among other things, and that was essentially what he was doing. He planned to keep doing this for a very, very long time. After all, it wasn't like he had many employment abilities. He couldn't handle most spells and he didn't have any credibility in the muggle world to do more then bus tables or clean grills. He was not planning on doing that with his life. No. And he preferred to have a little fun, so he was going to be a pirate. A modern pirate. The jedi bit was just for fun; even if he knew it didn't necessarily make sense with real jedi's.
He had just stepped out of the woods near the safe house, carrying a bundle of large sticks over cross his shoulders. He dropped them down on the porch and moved inside of the house. Colin's journal worried him, but his brother had not answered back. He had an idea as to what was going on. And he didn't necessarily know how to comfort his brother; when he genuinely believed that Colin may have done something wrong.
He turned down the hall and came to a stop in front of Justin's door, giving a soft knock. "I'm demanding you come help me. Yup." He said, smiling to the boy. He was worried about Justin just as much as he was worried about Colin, in fact, a little bit more. Justin was likely to think he had no one. And Dennis wanted to make sure he knew that wasn't true.
