Kevin's smile faltered, and he watched her hesitantly, unsure of quite what to make of it. He did see the logic behind what she was saying, but he didn't agree. More importantly, he didn't want to agree. Looking at it that way was depressing.
"I touched you," he pointed out, since she didn't seem to have noticed that. He raised his hands to his face, and touched himself. "I can touch myself." That sounded wrong, and after a moment of trying to stop himself from laughing at it, he cracked a grin against his will. "I didn't want to die either, Su, but how many people get to be ghosts? Haven't you ever wished you could walk through a wall, or float on air, or - or -" He didn't know what else ghosts could do that people couldn't. "Have you tried just standing inside a wall, yet? You can see the inside of stones!"
