Harry had hardly slept. After what had happened in his dreams the night before, he didn't want to sleep - and after confirming what Snape had told him by viewing the memories he'd been given, it hardly seemed like he needed to, either. The knowledge that he needed to die, that Voldemort must be the one to destroy him, was hanging over his head, and he couldn't let it show to either of his friends. He couldn't tell them, they would protest - they would stop him.
The only reason why he hadn't done something to make it happen, yet, was because he had yet to figure out what the purpose of the Snitch was. It was incredibly difficult to concentrate on this last puzzle of Dumbledore's, but it had to be important, otherwise why would Dumbledore have ordered Snape to give it to him?
In Hermione's current state, for which Harry could not blame her (in fact, he felt awfully guilty for it), they hadn't managed to figure it out last night. He was hoping that with a bit of sleep - assuming she'd slept any better than he had - they might be able to put their heads together and figure it out. He sat at the table turning the winged ball over in his hands, waiting for her to wake and join him.
