Bayleigh had woke early, something she did not often do. It was perhaps because she was anxious and worried. She had not had an important discussion with her father and certainly not one about either of their intimate aspects of their personal lives. She didn't think she was going to tell him much, and she assumed he was probably going to be withholding some information from her, but they had agreed to talk the night before, both seeming a bit caught off guard to talk in that moment.
She slipped out of her room, not wanting to wake Millie, who she had asked to stay. She didn't want the events of the night before to change their plans. She didn't often wake before Millie though, as she was one to rise late and stay up late as well. Creeping through the house, she searched for her father, looking first into his study. It was generally where she sought him out.
"Dad?" She said, anxiety in her words but courage as well. She wasn't going to hide from him now that he perhaps knew. She wondered if Chas had filled in the blanks or if he had figured all of it out on his own. She thought of Chas then, wondering if the woman was still in their home. She couldn't help but smile just lightly, approving of the thought that they were perhaps together. She wanted Barty and Chas to be happy.
