Who: Dennis and Dean (Colin maybe later?) What: Dennis cut it close. When: Thursday Where: Safe house provided by Awesomesauce Trio Warnings: Language? Status: Incomplete
The fact of the matter was that, even though he wouldn't admit it out loud, Dennis didn't want Colin to be ashamed of him. So, when he came bursting into the safehouse and scooped up his journal, his first instinct was to console in his brother about what had just occurred. His desire to not disappoint him prevented him from following through, as he scribbled out the message quickly, with shaky hands. He needed to see someone though, needed to talk. Su, perhaps? No; he had a feeling Su was probably with Kevin. And if there was one other person he didn't want to disappoint, it was Kevin.
Dean. Dean was good. He didn't care if Dean knew and he had a feeling Dean might be a bit more forgiving in the long run.
Once he had messaged Dean, he quickly made his way through the house to the other side, opening Dean's door without any further notice. He shut it behind him and immediately he slid down the back of it, yanking his knees to his chest, his elbows resting against his knees as his hands threaded through his hair. He sucked in a breath, which sounded on the brink of a sob, and he was shaking like a leaf. Blood was dripping down his arms and he didn't look up. He'd explain in a moment, as soon as he gathered his cool. He probably should have done that before he sought out Dean, but he hadn't.
