Charlie had spoken with his brothers, letting them know where he was going. He knew that he could not abuse the privilege, but he was growing quite antsy in the French countryside, wanting nothing more then to rush back to England. Which was truly a new feeling for him as he had always wanted to escape England during his youth. He felt it was too crowded and too built up. There was not enough of the grand open. At least, not enough for him. But he wanted England.
He wanted to see Katie.
He had chosen the Leaky because he felt it was one of the safest places in the eye of the public. He could have asked her to try and find him out in the country side, or in muggle London, but he was afraid for her safety. She would need a reason for her actions, in case questioned. At least with the Leaky she had the excuse of getting a drink.
He arrived early, wanting to make sure he was there before she arrived, so no one would question sudden arrivals and departures. He had found himself the perfect person to use for polyjuice, looking vastly different then usual. He was taller, for starters, with a head full of dark brown hair, that was hastily cut; with a thick beard. He had thought the man looked rugged and that was the quality he thought was most important. Drinking quietly at the pub, his eyes occasionally lifted to see who entered the establishment. He hoped she understood him when he said he'd find a way to make her realize it was him. He leaped up as she entered the room, grinning wildly. "Are you Katie Bell? The Katie Bell? Merlin, you are!" He exclaimed, grinning wildly as he approached her. "It is a honor, Mam, it really is. You know I was just telling my mate the other day that you are the best damn Chaser out right now," he exclaimed, now practically in front of her. His hands slipped out from his coat pocket, reaching out and clasping hers in between the both of his. He slipped a piece of parchment into the palm of her hand, folding her hand around it, while continuing to shake her hand as if he was just some rabid fan. "Really, truly a honor. You have a goodnight, Miss," he said before pulling his hand back, tipping his hat to her, and making his way out of the Cauldron.
The parchment that he had placed in her hand read in distorted hand writing --
Lift the wards, please, I'll meet you there in thirty. Have a quick drink.

Once the Wards had been lifted, some time later and thankfully before the potion had worn off, he apparated directly into Katie's flat. As he landed, he leaned against her wall, arms crossed, grinning to her.
