It was a little after the break of dawn on Sunday morning as Fleur rose from the bed she now shared with William, pulling a robe around her form. She had been uncomfortable for most of the night, always having trouble sleeping in a bed that was not her own. When she first started at Beauxbatons, she had spent the first week of classes unable to get any real sleep, until she finally passed out in the library as she looked over her first lecture notes. Something similar had occurred when she arrived at Hogwarts for the Triwizard Tournament, finding herself unable to sleep at all in the initial days. She was very thankful that she eventually willed herself into accepting the change in scenery and comfort, otherwise she'd have never been able to compete the way she did in those days.
Thankfully for her, she had grown so used to going back and forth between her own apartment and Williams in their early days together, that it wasn't a problem these day. But it was back now and it was barely past six in the morning. She moved towards the window, only a small beam of sunlight was seeping into the room. It was enough to allow her to work but not enough, so she thought, to wake William.
The safehouse she had purchased, so long ago in hopes she'd never have to use, was a former farm. When she had bought it, she had planned ahead, not knowing which Weasley's would have families of their own to hide. She was thankful for the various buildings that were located near the main house, all of which she had made sure were renovated enough to have functionable bedrooms and living spaces. She had taken the second smallest of these outbuildings for herself, William and Victoire; having already set up a nursery for her daughter months back, when her fears began to esculate more and more. The house was near Ambert, seeming far enough away from England that they were safe, but she couldn't help but fear they'd never be safe enough. She hoped all the wards and protection spells that she, along with the Weasleys, had placed upon the land the night before would keep them safe and hidden. It had been purchased so long ago that she doubted the realators would remember what the land owner looked like, but she had named herself Roselle Montagne, just to be safe. By now she hoped that her parents and sister had went into hiding as well, something she had discussed with her Mother in depth prior to this day finally arriving.
She bent down beside the trunk she had packed of her and William's things, deciding now was a good enough time to unpack. She pulled out articles of clothing slowly, folding them, focusing. It was the best way she could think of to keep her mind free of the their situation at the present time, even if it was not working as well as she'd have liked.
