Remus found it a bit difficult to plan a surprise when he and Dora were bound to the house on most occasions. It was rare for them to be able to find some space away from one another, and in most situations he would not have sought solitude, but when he was trying to plan a surprise, it was necessary. He had been plotting out his approach for days now and it was time for action. He wished he could have gotten it all set up while Dora was away from the house, as he would have if she still worked, but he could not. The best he got was when she was asleep or getting ready or on the occasion where she went to visit a member of the Order. He could not rely that she'd be going out for visits soon though, so he jumped at any chance he got. It seemed a bit silly, but once he was certain she was in the shower and indisposed, he quietly snuck into the bathroom and set an envelope against the mirror for her to find once she was out.
Inside the envelope was a handwritten note.
I'd greatly appreciate if you were to meet me outside once you are finished with your shower. I have something I'd like to discuss with you.
Love, Remus
Then he headed outside to prepare, his mind in a whirl, hoping he wouldn't be viewed as a fool for what he was about to do. He knew Dora wouldn't likely think this, but in his perdictament, he found that it was common to doubt even the most evident responses. Fear was normal and he kept reminding himself he did not need to fear Dora. He was almost certain of how she'd responsed.
