Who: Lavender & Seamus What: Reunited and it feels so... good? IDK. LOL. Where: Shay's place. When: Tuesday evening. Warnings: TBD! Status: In progress.
It had been wrong of her to run off to Wales. Or more accurately, it had been wrong of her to run off without telling Seamus, Lavender knew that now. But at the time, she'd just panicked. She was pregnant and basically single and she felt so overwhelmed, she just hadn't known what to do. So she fled. She couldn't go to her parents no matter how much she'd wanted to, because Seamus would know to look there and even besides that, she was afraid of facing them, of what they'd say to her. So instead, she ran to her Aunt Daisy, in Wales. Daisy had always been her favorite Aunt; independent and feisty and caring all at the same time. It was spending time with her Aunt Daisy that had helped her see that she needed to go back home and face Seamus.
Which was how Lavender ended up arriving on his doorstep, her packed back in one hand, clutching her cardigan closed over her now rather large belly. Merlin, he probably hated her. For getting pregnant, for running off with their baby and not telling him, abandoning him... Cat dirt! Lavender thought in exclamation, a favorite phrase of the heroine in her stories. But there was no backing down now and she was a Gryffindor after all, wasn't she? She needed to fix this. She needed Seamus in her life again, he was one of her best friends and she loved him in her own way. And their baby needed him, too.
So as her hand tightened around the back she held, Lavender lifted her hand, curled it into a fist, and knocked on Seamus' door.
