Obviously...
Things died. Don't know why. Could be general malaise and lack of desire to rp in general (at least on my part).
But I don't wanna reset, nor do I wanna give up.
So I propose a small timeskip of 18 months. Just reply here with a yea or nay. If yea, include what your characters have been up to, if nay, please include your reasoning so we can all discuss how to make things work.
Here's how mine would be XD
Aragorn is a father. Twins! A boy and a girl. Fortunately, the boy came out first.
Elphir never did solve those murders, and they eventually stopped. They resurged about 4 months ago, then stopped after a few weeks.
Faramir's negotiations didn't go as bad as expected. They didn't go as well as expected. There was a battle, and it was fought to a rough draw. Gondor and Umbar are now at an uneasy peace, and recently they've sent ambassador's to each other. The witches? No one has heard from them, and it's making some people uneasy, as that's never a good sign.
He is, however, enjoying being a father.
Celeborn has been spending a lot of time up in Mirkwood.
Khamul hasn't been let out of jail, though he was given a larger jail cell and a steady supply of candles.
Miriel has finished several road work projects.
Rodwen bought her and Eothain a house in Edoras, where they now live. She's already popped out a second kid, also a boy, who's about 4 months old.
Minulziran has finished her third voyage and is settled in Pelargir atm.
Gladharil and Hallorn STILL haven't married. Either she's skittish, or things keep stopping them, or both.
Haladreth returned to the north for a time, but is on her way back.
Caranthir and Avarian have gotten a whole lot closer. He's been way into the whole theatre thing, even acting occasionally!
Cwen has popped out a girl, and is about to pop another D:

I'm still usually up at same ungodly hours, so ja. I'm lazy tho, so fair warning. XD
Boromir = still a work h0r. There is noffink unusual about that.
Eothain is probably bragging like whoa about being all manly und stuff, and having two sons. He's also - surprisingly enough - the one who's better around kids than any of muh other bunnies would ever be. Even if he's got no edit function on that foul mouth o' his. <3 Possible exception to this might be....
Beruthiel, who has not only managed to pop out a boy child, but is probably the most laid back and unfettered mother, evah.
Maglor...I'm not sure what he's up to. He's not the most mentally stable bunneh, as it is, so...he's engrossed in artiste theatery things, I'd imagine. I'm as naturally iffy as Ithi was about him + children = them not being lost, broken, or witnessing the festive freak-outs that comes along wif being a Feanorian.
And Turin, whom I'm still not sure what I'm going to do with, but I suppose that'll just happen later...ish...at some point.
Anyhoo, yeshhh. Will just have t'check back here more often. Whoops. XD

I don't think what I'm about to say is easy, but I also think it's about time.
We first started playing around with this... oh.. what, about a year ago right? And in the beginning, when we started playing, it looked and felt like we had 1 solid game we were rping here. Everyone sort of met on the same turf creatively, for the most part .... well, anyway, it felt like we were all on more or less the same wavelength when it came to really rping with eachother.
Since then, things have died off more than once, there's been a reset... things have kind of grown stale, and I think on top of that none of us are really all that excited about this.
I don't have any single person to blame for this, nor do I think blame needs to be placed anywhere. We've all grown in different directions as we've played together, schedules have changed, and I think I need to say what no one else is willing to.
This isn't working. We're not all here. We're not all going the same way. We're not all even able to rp with eachother. It's not just growing pains. It's different creative styles and viewpoints that are not being worked through, talked out, or creatively resolved.
I love you all. I love rping with you all. But I'm done. Thanks for all the fish. <3

I'd be willing to give it another shot, if my schedule permits when school starts back up.
Karigan has been missing for six months, following a mission in the south,and is presumed dead. It is not the first time she has vanished, but it is the longest period of time.
Amrothos has acquired a ship and been at sea. He is now returning home after the maiden voyage of his new ship, the Vindication.
Imrahil has improved in health somewhat and has not had an outburst of coughing in several months. He takes his daily rides through the city and oversees the rebuilding but is secretly contemplating retirement.
Pippin has gone home to the Shire and is having parties galore. He's in love with Diamond of Long Cleave, but hasn't made his move yet.
Still haven't decided what to do with my other chars.

I'm not sure where all of them are yet and I may be narrowing down my list again, but I'll comment when I know for sure about them all.

After some thought (und also cuz LotRO has been kinda eatin' muh brains what with Eregion region opening up, omgz), I'm really kinda not into continuing either if Steph's not into continuing with UT. I think it was worthwhile to give this game another shot, and I'll enjoy reading back through all the logs and stuff...but its probably time to give up the ghost on this project. Dunnit help me either, that the niece is over here at earlier and longer hours, plus all the doc stuff und that just makes my playage hours even more wonky....
So, sorry all! I'm going t'bow out too. I'll see ya 'round and its been a fun roller-coaster ride o' rpage! *gives hugs n' stuff* <3
