Xavier's Mission
The Xavier Institute Mission Statement
Xavier Institute for Higher Learning, an academy sponsored by Charles Xavier through the good works of X-Corporation, responds to the call of virtue to love and serve mutants and humans. Therefore, the Xavier Institute for Higher Learning is dedicated to nurturing and upholding integrity and academic excellence and aspires to a mission of promoting the moral-spiritual, intellectual-physical, and personal-social growth of young men and woman who face the challenges of the 21st Century.
In light of this Mission Statement, Xavier Institute for Higher Learning students will:
·Engage in a challenging program of study that produces self-directed and life-long learners
·Demonstrate analytical and critical thinking skills
·Acquire knowledge and appreciation for various forms of the Arts
·Gain knowledge of constantly advancing global technologies while acquiring a high ethical standard of use
·Make healthy life choices that enhance physical and emotional well being
·Recognize and respect the dignity of each person, and value the cultural diversity of society
·Exhibit a sense of personal responsibility by actively engaging in field work and missions
Our mission is to promote the peaceful affirmation of mutant rights, to mediate the co-existence of mutants and humans and to protect society from dangerous mutants. To achieve this aim, we must teach mutants to explore and control their powers. We must act as public advocates for mutant.
