COUGH THERE WAS A WEDDING TODAY! This post will be pretty later; but cliff notes until then:

Wedding at Ministry was followed by a VERY SHORT reception. The real reception was invitation only at Pure.

This couple was NOT miserable; in fact, both seemed incredibly happy/excited to be married.

Higgs walked Laura down the aisle (as her dad is dead and has no family otherwise). Silas was her Maid of Honour, with Rose, Eleanor, and Hannah also standing up there. While Hannah was wearing the same dress as the other three bridesmaids; Laura told her the day before the wedding that since she was Ernie's BFF she should stand beside him and not beside Laura during the ceremony; so assuming she was okay with the idea, when she walked down the aisle she took and stood where the "Best Man" would have stood. Beth - did he have any groomsmen?

They had a very Hufflepuffian wedding with white/black/yellow as colours. Flower petals, since there was no flower girl, were charmed to float down slowly from the ceiling during the part when a flower girl would have been present. Etc.

This will be pretty later; but we're heading to a Christmas parade RN so this is all I can do ;)
