Oh, uh, and I've been unkidnapped. Thanks to everyone who was looking for me. I'm fine, aside from having lost my California tan and suffered a severe case of boredom and pizza deprivation. You'd think kidnappers would be humane enough to at least leave their victims with some books or a deck of cards or anything. You can only do so many push-ups, after all.
Still, that was the best rescue I've ever been part of, for all that I was the rescuee instead of one of the rescuers. First two dozen off-duty policemen swarm in--to say nothing of everyone on the perimeter, half the LAPD were there--and then this gorgeous redhead with a sword runs up, kisses me, and asks me to marry her.
Seriously, thanks to everyone who was looking for me. I'm grateful, I really am. I mean it.

I don't believe it. I do not believe it. I have a family. I have a family. With kids, and everything. There's three of them. Or maybe five. But three who are here. And they're terrific. One of them's clearly his mother's boy, he's got her eyes and his brow furrows exactly the same way when he's concentrating, and one of them's got my sense of humor and knack for finding all the wrong things funny, and the third one has to be the most adorable kid in the world.
I can't believe this is my life. How did I get this lucky? If there were a Chantry handy, I'd go sing hymns to the Maker. Well, I maybe not sing, wouldn't want to hurt His ears with my off-key warbling. I'll find something.
Varric, thanks to you and all of yours for keeping a roof over their heads when they got here. I owe you one. I keep owing you one and then never paying you back and instead coming over to eat all of Esmerelda's pancakes, but you know what I mean.
No, I'm not going to stop babbling, why do you ask?

Now they're gone. I certainly don't miss them, but the quiet is oddly unsettling too.

So, I've, uh, got a job. Just a part-time one, working at an animal shelter. They can only pay me for one day a week, but I agreed to volunteer on some of the other days. I still don't like the cages, but at least they're getting cared for. And they need help, and I can help keep them healthy, so that's good.

Bloody hell, I had to do some fast thinking to come up with a "maiden name" for the marriage license! Why did no one tell me there'd be a marriage license? I must've looked like an idiot. Anyway. Rather happy now. Just wanted to thank all you lot who came to the ceremony and the party. Sebastian, thank you so much. It was ... wonderful, all of it.
And now, it was a lovely time, but now, if anyone wants me or Aaron for the next week or so, they can, with my great love and appreciation, piss right off.

Good thing: I found my staff! Must've gotten thrown somewhere else when the vortex dropped me here. Loki keeps trying to chew on it, but it zaps him whenever he gets too interested.
Guess that week was the sort of weirdness this world is known for. Well, that and unexpected children from the future. I think I can deal with this. |

I've gotten unstuck, finally. And I can still shift into a horse! I'm so proud of myself for managing it, it's years and years since I learned a new form.
Except now that that's accomplished I don't really know what to do with myself. I still can't find Nuriko. I know he's around somewhere, I just...can't locate him.
And I miss having work to do. No need to spy on Templars here. No Templars, even.
Does anyone have any sort of temporary jobs that need doing? I'll do pretty much anything. I just want something to keep me busy for a day or three and earn a bit of money. I'm going to need some new clothes soon, and I'm really tired of eating like a bird. |

And lo, the two became three. Falcon found that she couldn't help but press her lips to the he-mage's mouth, and the three of them embraced their passion as quickly as they had embraced being apostates, as quickly as they had embraced anything. And besides, the falcon and halla had to admit that their coupling had been awfully short on staves.
