I woke up this morning and I said to myself, 'Self, it's time for a change'. After all I'm a married man now.
Dear me, now that I take a good look, this new face is attractive. perhaps not the best choice for a married man, after all.
Ah well. Trying to get a new face is like trying to get 'a pen from a particularly bloody-minded stationary department'. I'm not doing that again, at least not anytime soon.

Which reminds me- to those that might have forgotten, who care to see such things: Westminster Abbey, eleven o'clock mass today, the Angel and I are to be married. Reception to follow at six in Eden, open bar and free play for anyone looking for something to do with their Friday.
Come one and all, although any hecklers will be shot. Or worse.
[ooc: Of course Crowley can't actually shoot hecklers, today, thanks to Lucy's mandate against asshole-ism. But he doesn't know that. Also, as there are sure to be festivities a plenty and no one will be around to log, we're going to handwave the ceremony proper, and likely the reception. It was grandiose, and obnoxious, and Crowley actually smiled for once (and didn't even look like a snake). And Jesus presided over the thing- which will likely make the news in at least a few countries, since hey, gay marriage is evil, right? To those who celebrate it...
Happy Thanksgiving.
I'm grateful for the fact that I somehow managed to live for another year, my son...the fact that there hasn't been any 'major' disaster.
I'd be even more grateful if I was somewhere that actually celebrated the holiday. Even the building that serves as the 'officers' club' doesn't have much in the way of Thanksgiving.
I feel even worse for those in the infirmary: bad enough to be away from your family on thanksgiving, being injured and away has to suck-not to mention the food they serve there isn't worth living for.

I must say, I'm vaguely disappointed more hasn't happened around here, in my absence. I would have thought if any place could keep itself in sin, it would be London.
In any case- tomorrow, [address]. Another grand opening, which I'm sure surprises the life out of the lot of you. But free drinks, no cover, I dare say the party will throw itself. All I ask is no copious bloodshed in the bar itself; I did just have the floors refinished, and all. |
