I have gone to a place called Starbucks, and tried something called coffee. It is magnificent. It comes in so many flavors. There is one called egg nog, so I tried that. Someone told me that egg nog is another kind of drink that is cold and tastes like custard and I like that as well!
But mostly I very much like this coffee. So much so, that I have written a song about it. It isn't complete yet, but I will sing it for anyone who wishes, once I'm done.
I've very much missed writing music. All of these new flavors are fantastic. I suppose I don't mind this place as much as I thought I did. |

Halloween was a BLAST and I loved every minute of it, even when I stabbed this gross spider thing in the thorax and got covered in sticky probably spleenards. (Spleenards is spleen plus innards, just covering all my bases here. I don't specialize in insects, I'm a people doctor, kthx.)
But the next best part, the half price candy? That's the part I've been enjoying. There's something fabulous and magical about sitting in the bath, eating discount Milky Ways. Yes, I did go to the States to get their candy, no, you can't have any. |

It's so strange, getting used to silence again. I used to to hear and feel Darkspawn all the time.
Now they're gone. I certainly don't miss them, but the quiet is oddly unsettling too.
I really expected to be immune from weird after the last seven years. |

Right, now that that's over, I'm going to sleep for at least a week. Maybe a month. Someone wake me in time for that Thanksgiving thing, any holiday based off of eating a ton of food is one I want to experience. Until then, I'm going to bury myself under as many pillows as I can find. If any more monsters show up, tell them to look for me in the Fade, because I'm not moving for anything.
...okay, exceptions might be made for the gorgeous redhead who's teaching me how to shoot straight, but otherwise, sleeping now. |

Everyone else, would you believe that someone tried to order a pizza--actually about twenty pizzas--and the guy delivered them? Didn't even charge us extra, apparently he's getting a kick out of being able to use a shotgun on the job. I ate two. Best pizza ever. Definitely remembering that place for next time I'm in this city.
But Andraste's flaming pyre, what would I give for some sleep that's not interrupted by screaming or growling or Maker knows what.
