It's been a while, so I thought I'd let you all know that the dear captain and I are still out and about, if not incredibly active. if any of you lot need anything from either of us, feel free to pop by or give us a shout. Just because we aren't talkative does not necessitate that we are not keeping a watchful eye on our lot.
But as always, if it weren't for a reason, I wouldn't be posting.
The captain, Aggie and myself would like to extend an invite to an open house. If you've ever wished to simply be more social, or meet people of a fascinating and bizarre nature, this would be the time and place. A buffet of most generous proportions will be there, as well as possible live music by whoever bothers bringing their instrument of choice.
The day's Saturday, the time's 1pm until question mark, and the place is our island home on Tortuga. [Directions from portkey].
No RSVP needed, but it'll always good to hear from the lot of you. |

Ha. I just received word that our home's finally habitable again, and this is JUST after I got the study shack just the way I liked it. Isn't that just the way?
I believe this means that Jack and I will be moving back to Tortuga as soon as we're able. All our dear friends, old family, and blood relations are welcome to join in on a housewarming.
Just don't break or steal anything. I do still bite, after all. |

Well, that certainly was an experience. I'm happy to say that things are looking far more bright for Port-Au-Prince.
Jack and I have returned to Florida, where we'll be staying with the lady Captain Bonney, Who may or may not feed anyone who comes to see us. She also may whap me with her ladle for saying so. Still, we're no worse for wear, my library is intact, and the Captain's things are perfectly sound, which I know comes as a relief to him as well.
Now what's this I hear about family crises? |

I hear there's a need for piratical garb. I just so happen to be an expert on said, and happen to have plenty of left over from god-knows-when. Sneaky keeps sending over crates of our things, and it seems that a few of them just so happen to have things that Jack and I stashed away back when ruffles were in fashion. ... From about the TIME we stashed it away. It's practically new.
Anyway, if you were planning on being a pirate this coming Hallowe'en, don't bother wasting your money. Just let me know where to send it, and what your general measurements are. |

Campground season's just about done, this weekend and next, and then it's back to being on call for week-long shifts just to make sure everything's as it should be.
Still weird to me that I've not only got a regular job, but one that I'm good at, though I do start to understand why ma' was always looking for something to do, guess that runs in the family, since I've been looking for a hobby to keep me busy in the off season.

Between them, the Ice Warriors and that run-in with the Daleks, I'm still surprised I survived my time with the Doctor. It was an incredible journey, though. |
