Well now, this is definitely a better locale than the last place I was confined in. Seems like Earth. But not the one I remember. Can't seem to get back to it. I would appreciate answers as to what this place is. I do not settle well with vortexes that bring me to places I have no knowledge of, nor intended to go to. But at least it's better than the Zone.

Odd, that the royalty in the English family has such despicable style. I have found the telly a most fascinating interest and time to be had, though the Queen belittles herself by wearing such ridiculous hats, and by dressing herself in a most obscene yellow, as a runny egg has passed and solidified over her body.
My own family is not quite so vain, and I am grateful for that.
Zounds, how bizarre, how queer, how absurd.
I have been told that I speak like a Count, or more exactly, The Count from some odd-sounding show on the telly. And when I show that I truly do not understand what is meant, I am asked to count anything. "One street urchin, two street urchins," and then to laugh.
There is much in this world that baffles, and much more that makes no existent sense.

I didn't think anyone in this world played Wicked Grace, but I found a club in Freeport where it's laid out. I won three thousand Bahamian dollars during the afternoon. And I stopped some fool trying to snatch a coin purse when I was delivering on Exumas Island. Felt bloody good to lay a man out again.
Zev, I trust you got the parcel I sent you? It's not Antivan, but it's as close as I could find.

I actually might have a weekend off soon, barring any unforeseeable felony-level calamity that people might bring to the attention of my boss and we might have to deal with. So, general evil types? If you could pleasepleaseplease just lay off it until next Monday, that would make me a very grateful and happy geek.
I don't have any plans or anything, but sometimes a girl needs some time to relax and do nothing but have a TNG marathon, you dig? |

I know the monsters are gone, but every time I hear a weird noise outside, I... kinda can't help screaming like a girl and hiding behind the sofa. Which is apparently how I used to react to the Daleks in Doctor Who.

Well, damn. Flemeth is gone. She was really nice, both as a woman and a dragon. She made great dinners too. But at least I was able to help her with something important she needed assistance with, even left her a gift before she left.. wherever she went to or whatever happened.
I know there's some other people I knew here that are gone too. Good friends. Some who had been here almost as long as I have. Sometimes this place sucks. I think I need to go out. Do something. Just.. drink or something. Anything. |

Heavens to Murgatroyd, I've been shifted through dimensions before, but not quite as abruptly, nor was it quite so isolated. I do hope that they captured the anomaly at the Institute, it would make for fascinating data!
I could only hope to presume that this Earth is the one that I've been told about, unless there are other worlds into which you are taken abruptly by what seems to be an isolated tornado. |

Thanks to some fantastic help, Flyleaf Books [London address] is officially open for business. We've kind of been open all week, and in a clever marketing ploy, the grand opening is Friday.
We'll have a whole lot of fun stuff, live music, autograph signings with local authors, food, always the food. Even a raffle and some book give-aways.
If you've got gift certificates (and I'm sure there's a few of them still drifting around) from the former Sign of the Weasel, bring them by, we'll honor them during the grand opening weekend only. |

Oh YES, it feels so good to be back. I'm sorry I forgot everyone that I had met here.. which is quite a number of people, but I'd forgotten all that fun happy memory since I was different than my usual self. A year or two. Gone. I even forgot my own kid! So Jakob, I'm really sorry but it'll be better. It's all back now in my mind. So, I remember everything and everyone once more. So it's all good.
But guess what needs to happen now that I'm back? Go on, guess. I think we all know what Damien does after wackiness happens. PARTY! Or at least having one to three people over. I have video games, great food, waterbeds, a hot tub, indoor pool, a big screen HD TV, basically anything a guy can imagine owning if money is never an issue. So.. yeah. I'm going to plan another party at Thorn Manor. But first? I guess a good pub crawl is in order too. And since we have portkeys, I can go to any one of them over the globe, but either Stockholm or London will be the place to start. |

I named him Bit, because I didn't know what else to name him, and I don't know what he was called before, and he answers to it the same as he answers to any other name, which is really not a lot.

I was just shown how to use this small device, so I thought I should introduce myself, since my new friend Soren showed me this... forum, he called it? I am Gremio, and I have just arrived two days ago. This world is nothing like my own! Cars and electricity are really incredible, and this phone? I'm not entirely certain it's not completely magical. It attaches to nothing yet it can let you talk to people all over the world! I'm constantly amazed by the inventiveness of people.
I know I can't possibly be the only one whose world was unlike this one. I was told there aren't even elves, dwarves, or kobolds here! |
