First the bad dreams, now the restless, sleepless nights.
Seems to be a catching thing. Bill says it's due to higher powers' emotions running high but didn't go into detail, and Toki said it's probably just like a flu-bug but only affecting sleep, not the body itself. I don't believe in superstition or contagious disease of the mind, so I'm guessing it's just coincidence. But that still doesn't help the fact that everyone I know here is having trouble sleeping, and had bad dreams last night. I worry about things way too much, I suppose. At least it lets me catch up on my reading. Who knew family history could be so interesting? Almost makes me wish I went with the first of my two last names all these years. I only wish I could share this kind of family history with my half-brother. Miniver would have made a better pirate than I. Also? Praise the deity which thought up caffeine. The mental image of said God conjures up a wide-eyed, vibrating madman with wild hair whose scepter is topped with a latte cup. Still, I'd take the guy out to lunch. Perhaps the same being was the one who thought up other stimulants as well. God of Uppers. His brother, the God of Psychotropic Plants would look like me in a tie-dyed sarong. Possibly with huge glittery star glasses.
... Wow, sleep deprivation does weird things to the imagination. And I've GOT to stop hanging out with rock stars so much. No offense, guys.
