Watson.

Have you noticed anything strange in the dirt there in Tokyo?

The parts that aren't paved over? It's.. rather dirt-like?

HEY! It's the smart British guy! Can we keep following you around? Huh?

You already have a few 'British guys' with you, and they seem to be intelligent young men. Shouldn't that be sufficient?

No way, silly. They don't even have a neat stick to poke stuff with.

I don't suppose the solution is as simple as buying Mr. du Lac a walking stick, is it?

No way! He's not good at the detectiving! Detective-y? Detecting?

Whatever, you're smart!

Nor am I, I'm afraid. I'm a doctor, miss, not a detective.

Wait, where'd my bubble pipe go?

This is the trauma talking, Mr. du Lac. Are you sure you wouldn't regret it later?

I could try, but I'm fairly certain they would follow us. I'm not prepared to tranquilise an entire group of young women.

Perhaps we can take turns distracting them so that each of us gets the occasional chance to concentrate.

Do you perhaps notice footprints in the dirt? A mens size 11, of this world's 'sports' variety with that swooping nonsense?

(Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

[info]elementaryme
2011-11-22 06:55 am UTC (link)
..There are footprints. With English lettering on them, and the swoop, yes. I suppose they could be a size 11.

We saw these before.

They have been at every crime scene, have they not, my dear Watson?

Yes. I didn't realize it before, but yes. They have.

Identical footprints at disparate locations in far too short of a timespan for what is usually termed normal travel.

We need to examine the scenes for portkeys, Watson. I believe, no, I am certain they will lead us to our man.

(Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

[info]elementaryme
2011-11-22 07:18 am UTC (link)
Portkeys can lead us anywhere, though, can't they? I thought that was how they worked. Or do you think these are different somehow? Private versions? I suppose it wouldn't do to drag a kidnapping victim through general use portkeys, would it?

Indeed, I should think secrecy would be of the utmost importance.

I believe we follow these tunnels, and we should find whoever the master culprit behind this devilish scheme is, Watson.

I'll hold off on the 'touching random objects' portion of the evening until we've reunited, I think. Who knows what communication lines will be like wherever they lead.

I'm Watson. They.. Well, that I couldn't tell you, except that one of them seems to have a disturbing fixation on Mr. Holmes.

Apologies aren't necessary.

She's not really being weird about it. Okay, well, she is weird by default, but she just is trying to be a really good detective, and everyone knows that means you have to be like Sherlock Holmes.

She just drug Gaius and I along for the accents, I think.

I don't even know, Dr. Watson. She's a pony. They're kind of weird.

Two of her friends got kidnapped, so we're looking for them. Could you let us know if you come across anything?
