I had no idea. I mean, I know it's the least important bit, but I swear, I had no idea.

I don't know what to say. I don't um, quite feel that way. About any guy, I mean. I've never much thought about it, and I know this is coming out all jumbled, but you're my best friend. I won't ever let anything change that, as long as you can hate me for not being quite there with you on this.

I don't think I'm gay. It wouldn't be fair to say I think I am when I don't, but at the same time I couldn't stand to lose you either, which is complicated and confusing too.

All I mean is you're my best friend, and nothing could ever change that. I couldn't stand it.

I'm sorry.

I didn't really expect you to feel the same way. I know you're straight. I just. I guess it's just selfish, but I had to tell you. I really don't expect anything.

You won't lose me as your friend by saying you're not interested. Don't worry. Your friendship is more important to me than anything else.

It's not your fault. Thomas, it's okay. Please. I don't want you feeling terrible because I'm feeling terrible because you don't feel how I feel. You see how confusing this whole thing could get after a while. Just give me a day and I'll be back to my old self, I promise. We can just go back to normal and forget about this.
