Right, so I know I just gave everyone a warning about a week ago, but I realize I didn't give the history of the Orphan's Thanksgiving.
Back in the day, when me and Mary were living in Louisiana, we knew quite a few people around who didn't have family around to come for dinner on the holidays, so we had the space at the time, and just invited them to stay with us for the weekend and for the feast, and it just grew from there.
After Mary and me went our separate ways, I just kept on with it, since after that I was the one without anywhere to go, figured I might just make a tradition out of it. And I suspect Mary did the same.
So there you are, invitation's open to anyone, whether or not you've got somewhere else to go [Key West address] Usually start around midday Thursday, goes through Sunday sometime, or whenever the food runs out, whichever one takes longer. Bring whatever you like, sides, drinks, extra dishware, and bring anybody you think needs a good home-cooked meal, doors'll be open.
