Someone tell me again why I did not simply portkey to Firenze. Those flying things are menaces.

That said, it is pleasant to be home again, and I am stunned at the amount of buildings which have survived. The Uffizi Gallery has some truly marvellous things, also.




I am sorry to say Leonardo's workshop did not survive. His effects have been scattered to the winds - museums all over Europe. Perhaps we could go to Windsor Castle sometime and see the bulk of his notebooks ... who knows, they might contain mention of you!
