Ah. Not terribly complex to reassemble, these... blackberries- is there a reason it's named after a fruit?

Anyhow- in the hopes of further correspondence. Missus Winchester? I do have a few questions, regarding these beneficiaries you suggested I contact? When I told them of my identity, they threatened to call the authorities. When I informed them I could rather find my own way to the yard, the signal was dropped. We hadn't even reached the matter of these stories.

These cards, in my billfold. They are my money, now? Whatever happened to the paper-and-metal variety? Or was that lost to this 'future' as well? I am certain I will have to find a way to pay for my rooms, eventually.

I may also be in the market to procure another wardrobe; have you any idea where to find a tailor, in this place? All of this pre-hung clothing- and so... I'm not even sure. I simply need a new suit.

Imaginary? The nerve! Although, I suppose I see the sense. This place does often seem but a dream. These devices, for instance. The peculiarity is still something to be reckoned with.

An account... like a ledger? Why would you ever be indebted to so many people? Bad business, that.

The tailor, down Brompton Road? Of course I have been to Harrod's. I suppose I didn't expect the store to still be around. Everything is so changed, these days.

Exactly like a ledger, except with the card you give them permission to take how much they are owed immediately. If one has sufficient money in the bank, they are indebted to no one.

Brompton Road is a bit of a mess nowadays. Mostly "trendy" shops that I might venture to guess you'd find appalling. Harrod's is still in Knightsbridge, yes, and I just had a thought - Regent Street might be a place you'd wish to inspect. Several of the stores there are quite old, and might even still be businesses you would recognize. I know men's stores and jewellery stores populate that area; perhaps you should search for a tailor there.
