I'm not sure where I am, but I'm pretty sure it's not Ferelden.

Does anyone know how to get back to Denerim from here? I don't think the Darkspawn will just wait for me to return from my vacationing in Wherever-This-Place-Is before going back to destroying everything I know and love.

I'm not even sure how I ended up here to begin with.

	I do not know. But I do not doubt the evidence of my own eyes. Yet. I don't think I'm quite so old. She killed it, and lived. She was hailed as the Hero of Ferelden. In such a small camp, it was impossible not to hear, I think! I'm sorry not to spare your blushes ... I thought you would be happy to hear that at least in my time, you were very happy.

And if you wish to hear it, all right, but don't say I did not warn you ... your fellow Warden told me that to save both your lives, you had to give Morrigan a child. As part of some ... ritual.

I would never joke about something I find distasteful.

As she told me, Morrigan needed a Warden's child to absorb the taint of the Archdemon when it died. That would result in a being with the powers of an old god, but none of the taint of the Darkspawn. I do not know why she could not ask Riordan, but she told your companion that it needed to be you.

Apparently she convinced you, because she loved you and could not bear to watch you die. Or to die herself and leave you alone. She said it was a choice between this and a lifetime of being alone.
