So, Internet, riddle me this:

Zombie viscera on canvas- is there any good way to remove it, or should I just deem the trench a lost cause? We're awfully attached to the coat, but I'm not walking around smelling like a morgue for the rest of the winter.

Also, to anyone I might have... inadvertently maimed somehow, while John was at the wheel, I'm sorry. Blighter's been real bored, lately, and I don't know how to stop it.

Which brings me to point the second: Boredom, and its possible cures. I'm not used to being the wallflower of the bunch. And I have a tendency to bribe new friends with large quantities of alcohol.

Take that how you will.

Cleaning the coat with booze would be a terrible waste of alcohol. I might have a trick or two, up my sleeve.

I think I have enough booze to get both the coat and myself drunk- along with half the county, if I wanted to. But I'm open to suggestions, tiger.

Living in a brewery? Couldn't hurt to soak the coat, worst case, it smells like a brewery, when you're done.

You know, I should probably think about investing. At least that way I'd get some of my money back. Which is to say, no- living with an alcoholic or two is more like it. But I might as well try it- worked with the ichor in the couch, when I got here.

I'm Jax, by the way. Creedy; occasionally John Constantine, when the accent and my sense of reason decide to gang up on me.

Thomas Raith, of House Raith. Formerly of House Raith. I don't think it exists here. That, in itself, is a good thing, mind.

Most people don't go around advertising they're multiple personalities, but I get the impression you're not like most people.

Says the guy talking about capital-h House membership like it's normal. Oh, the circles we run in.

Besides, it becomes glaringly obvious the longer you talk to me. And if there's one thing I've learned, it's that insulting John is a Very Bad Thing. Corpse-smelling coats would be the least of my worries.

Ohhh. That sounds ominous, what with all the capitals in there.

Are you single? I know a this guy. He needs to get laid, and I think you're exactly his type.

Makes a right bogeyman when he tries, John does. He also fucks with my syntax. Some English major I am.

If that was a pick-up line, you need to work on your delivery. But 'A' for effort, on side-tracking from the crazy.

Let's say, hypothetically, I was single. And, hypothetically, I liked guys. Would 'this guy' be swinging by Chicago for drinks soon, or is he the type to make the bird fly to him?

Sounds like my brother, without the proper knowledge and use of syntax.

Forgive me, love. I'm terribly out of practice. Much better at these things in person. Just happens that my guy is in Chicago already. What do you know? Small world.

This one is, marginally. World, small, that is. But sure. Have your guy make his way to [address]. I'm probably going to be the only girl in a top hat.

Will do.

To be fair, I was going to send my brother, but I think I'll saunter up there myself. not sure my brother could handle you.

'Handle' me? And you think you can, hot stuff?

'M willing to give it a go, at least.
