What rivalry exists between you and she is not my concern. What you do to one another outside this shop and the quarter mile surrounding it is not my concern. But once you trespass with your filth and childish nonsense onto her territory, so do you trespass onto mine.

She is under my protection. This place is under my protection. This is a place of peace, and of safety, and of neutrality. There will be no tolerance for disturbing that. I do not care whether you come in person, whether you send your minions, whether you send your polluting presence through the daily post -- you will not do so again or I give you my word, Cassidy, the deals you will have to make with the dark and crawling things of the underworld to save yourself from me will be worse than what I do to you.

Let whatever protectors you have be wise enough to save you from attempting such foolishness again. I do not play games. This sanctuary will not be compromised.

	It was sent because he and Sable both are bad at effective, non-childish communication with each other. Fine with other people, not so good with each other. Still. He did something stupid, and all that needed to be said was "that was a little juvenile, could you please respect our boundaries?" but instead you jumped to threats. I repeat. Don't threaten him. This place is as sacred as any temple.

For the sake of others than her, there can be no tolerance for any disrespect for the sanctity of this space.

I will make no more exceptions for him than I do for the enraged men who come seeking their battered wives, or the corrupt agents of law who come seeking those whose crimes are of nonconformity.

You of all people must understand the urgency of panic and protection that is a reaction to anything that is even an implied threat to the safety of yourself or one you love.

He didn't threaten her. At worst, it was in very poor taste, at best, he probably thought she'd laugh.

You could have come to me, and you could have been civil. Ideally, she would have been the one saying something.

I understand the reaction, but not its severity. However, while you lay threats, I offer you a promise: touch Cass, and you will deal with me. Period.

She is not laughing. I doubt that could have been his expectation, either.

What he threatened was this place. The shop is neutral ground. Period. This is a sanctuary. This is an operating shelter. My JOB is to threaten anything that compromises that. This place protects what no one and nowhere else can. When he brings his little war here, he threatens the safety of more people than her. Would you expect a gentle reprimand if he were to walk into a church and vandalize it?

Keep your lover on a shorter leash, Soren. I will not touch him if he does not come here.

I highly doubt Cass knew how you feel about it. You could have told him. And I wouldn't threaten someone that vandalized a church, I'd report them to the police.

I don't leash my husband. Look, I'll talk to Sable. Stop overreacting. This is about to get bad for you if Ares is involved. I know you love her, and want to protect her, but this is really just overblowing things.

I was going to try to be friends with Sable, but until this asinine feud blows over, let her know that's impossible. Since she apparently forgot how to type.

She is not here to type anything. Meaning, at least, near anywhere she could see this. She was upset enough over that idiotic baking thing of his yesterday. She went off to the vault in tears after she got that package.

His needless harassment of her is unbecoming of any gentleman. The fool girl won't get a restraining order because she has some idea about making peace with her family. She's just as crazy as he is -- any woman with any self-respect would have handed him a legal order to keep away from her long before now.
