Proof this is a strange world:

After the mayhem of the zombies, you can now get a shot that looks a whole lot a cement mixer with blue razz schnapps called Zombie Brain Juice.

Lime juice and raspberries, then some Baileys. Not really that bad. I mean, compared to Snakebites or Jackasses.

But when your co-patrons shake their head and fail to keep the curdling drink in their mouth...

Ugh, been there.

And mostly it's the color. Nothing edible should be quite that shade of blue.

Luckily, their pockets are easy to navigate. For dry cleaning charges.

Not even weirdo or fey food? Damn, there goes a technicolor food fight a la Hook.

Well I don't know what weirdos eat, but the Fey eat a lot of produce, can't say any of it gets to be that color, there's a few edible flowers that are close, but even still, not something I'd eat.

But think of the new colors you'll invent when it comes back up!

Not, really no. I'm not even sure why it's raspberries that have to be blue.

Exactly! That's what I've always wondered, I mean, of all the fruit to arbitrarily make blue, why raspberries?

Skittles maker#1: Okay strawberries will be pink, cherries will be red, oranges orange, bananas will be yellow OR lemons, but never in the same candy, grapes are purple, and limes green. We've got it covered, we can do the rainbow thing.

Skittles maker#2: Uh, what about blue, sir?

Skittles maker#1: ....Balls.

Skittles maker #3: Sometimes those are too, but that's not a good flavor for candy.

Ouch, sorry about that.

And of course, this also doesn't factor in the reason for randomly white fruits-that-are-usually-another-color, this is generally on account of making them 'colder'.
'Arctic cherry' for instance, or 'Glacial Lemonade'

Naah, is good. One round of beers and I'm back in the black.

Yeah fruits that don't exist anywhere near the artic. Brilliant.

How about the ones that admit there's isn't a real flavor? Glacier Freeze, Riptide Rush... Alpine Snow should just be water, if they thought about it.

All of those should be, possibly with additional algae flavor, maybe penguin. Hell if I even know.

And when they totally make up new words? That's when you know there's nothing even remotely food-flavored in it.

PSHT.

Everyone knows the flavor potential for everything increases with an X, lost vowel or Z involved.

Exactly! Usually while doing something sporty, skateboarding for instance. It's pretty obvious these people haven't tried to do anything besides skateboarding while skateboarding.

Yeah, you don't over-the-head kick a soccerball, then trot over for a drink. You lie on the ground as wait for your bones to heal.

And you don't drink while doing an over-the-head kick. That'd just be messy.

And not even the fun kind of mess either.

Lord, that would be awesome co-ordination...

Oh hell no. The fun kind of mess has nothing to do with those drinks.
