I do not understand this place. My father is from when I was a little girl, my infant brother is an adult, my other dead brother is not only an adult but something of a demon or the like, my younger sister is an adult, older than me, my stepmother has recently married Lord Brandon, my other stepmother is engaged to someone she met, my former stepmother is married to a man identical to Lord Knivert and now my mother looks to be only a few years older than me. And I am in a world where women wear very little clothing and are not chaperoned with men that wish to court them. |

A strange but a welcoming world this has turned out to be. Stranger even than strange places I have been once, long ago. And how delightful to find that some things never change -- such as the ease of pawning souvenirs to the foolish and obsessed. As a result I find myself, for the first time in my life, in possession of what seems to be more than enough money for one month's rent and a few cheap meals.
Miraculous. Quite, quite miraculous.
It has additionally come to my attention that I have quite a number of relations scampering about like bunnies in a clover field somewhere in this vicinity. Hello, my loves. Charmed, I'm sure. |

It would be helping if I did not have to TYPE IN ALL CAPS to be making a blog post.
What on earth was that creature I replaced thinking, anyway? It is annoying to read upon all caps. Though I do have to admit I do like the way his candor strikes as self serving. Very interesting. |
