I've got to admit, I never thought I'd find the gritty, real sound of the old Blues in anything remotely contemporary, but thanks to my descendant, I've grown an addiction to some newer bands.
It's about damned time, at that. My bloody collection needed some updating. |

I miss home. Not that I don't love this place a lot - My family is here and that's great, but I miss San Fransisco. Once it gets a bit warmer, I'm thinking about taking the wife and kid there for a holiday. I still have a house there, after all. I just haven't seen inside it except for the once, when I first came here.
Bren, you want to go see what we're missing, honey? I know London's close to family and all, but come on. I miss the wharf. I miss the consignment shops, and the artist's scene. I miss the hills. Remember how I complained about all the uphill walking? I miss that. |

This new world is already weird, and now, I opted out of Rugby and had to transfer to a new college. At least I found one with a good scholarship program.

I feel like taking a job. Living off an inheritance and lazing the day away with my friends and beautiful wife is all good and great, but a man should have a purpose. I quite like, "James Potter, male supermodel." Or maybe, "James Potter: world class explorer." Or, "James Potter, superhero." Occupations with the word "super" in them attract me, if only because it's fitting for me.
Hmm. Maybe, "James Potter, professional stud" could work.

I don't suppose anyone knows where I can find a proper stationery shop in London? I misplaced my journals during the trip here, and I miss them.
I've been making do with a notebook and a packet of ball point pens that I got at the Tesco's, but I need a proper journal and a proper pen again. It feels odd not to have my volumes, I suppose I'll just have to start them up again, but not not until I have proper supplies to do it with. |
