So I've taken a patient into my home who was having a rather bad lot. I wonder if this goes against the normal rules of being a psychiatrist?

(Private to: Self)
I used the gas on Merope while she slept, inducing a horrendous nightmare upon her about her father. When she came back from it, she clung to me and was so..emotional with me. We kissed. Why did I do this? Why did I allow this to happen? This is...not cost-effective towards my goals.(/Private)

My mind has been elsewhere lately. I'm afraid its getting in the way of my work.

Well, why is it a potential hazard?

Because it could evolve past a patient-doctor relationship. Its good to try and keep things professional in this line of work.

Then perhaps she shouldn't be at your home? How can she afford services if she's living with you?

Well she can't actually. But I'm not exactly brimming with patients at the moment, and my only line of work is dealing with inmates at an asylum. I suppose I just felt like lending my services elsewhere.

Wow, a real asylum? For all the nutters? There is one near here, you could investigate that as a form of income. Is that patient of yours a nutter?

I wouldn't say that. Nutter is such a derogatory term. Everyone has their mental illnesses. I'm sure even you have a few.

Well, it's what they are, right?

Nah, I don't have anything wrong with me, Mister Head Doctor.

You lot have rules now? Interesting, that.

Perhaps they are more like recommended guidelines if you prefer?

That might've been a genuine question, Doc. Blame an existential hang-over.

Of course, I'm assumin' that makes you a psychiatrist.

Yes indeed I am one. Do you like to point out the obvious things about everyone?

Oh its quite all right. People often like to reject those who can truly help them. How about it, sir? Have some inner demons of your own?

I guess it depends on if they're a stalker. Mine left recently, so it's nice to be able to leave my house again.

Private to Dr. Crane:
Are you still taking new patients?

No, not a stalker. I offered to let them stay there. I can't just let a patient stay out on the streets hungry.

(Private to: Candy)
Everyone needs a little help. Sure, I can. What seems to be ailing you?

That's very kind of you. I'm glad they're not like Jack was.

Private to Dr. Crane:
My husband recently... passed. I'd just like someone to talk to. In the past year so many people seem to keep dying around me or leaving, and I just don't know how to deal.

I'm sorry to hear that. Sure I can do that, not a problem. I'll have to check my schedule though and see when I'm free for an appointment.

Thank you very much. I don't want to get in the way of the patients you already have.
