Oh, come off it. You don't have to play this place's bloody games, do you? Who you become and all that bollocks. Because this actually managed to make my list. I would've been better off replacin' a dead man, m'self.

[Angel- or Mr. Irony, I could say] Got a few ideas for you, mate. Haven't had to look into suppliers in a while, so f'you've got a connection, this'll go quicker.

I'm pretty sure you get to decide if you want the new life or not. I showed up as a nun. I do look damn fine in a habit, mind you... but not the life for me.

Fuckin' right. Like I need to hunt down ghosts t'talk to. Sounds like Mr. McGee here is goin' into retirement. Gotta say, yours is worse, though.

Oh, I don't know. No one wanders up to me and asks to speak to their dead dachshund. Besides... I know how to have fun in a convent.

Well, see, thats a matter of opinion. I don't mind th'ghosts so much, but f'I was expected to join some sort of holy order? You'd best believe I'd be having a chat with the bastards.

And is that right? Just what sort of fun are you talking?

Well, I can't say I joined the holy order. Be a bit strange that, all things considered. But I've got to admit to having a certain... proclivity towards the clergy. In my experience, nuns are a bit easier to coerce into certain pastimes, if you use the right manipulations.

It was fun, for the week or so I played.

Only holy man I ever met worth his salt was a vicar named Rick. Man could drink me under a table, almost always high on something or other. Right bastard, but a good man. An' that's some passtime, corrupting nuns. Take it that's your schtick?

I prefer priests to nuns... and I'd call it more of a hobby than a shtick. Their tendencies lean towards things like moderation and denial, which I'm generally against on principle. It's something to do when bored, I suppose.

Interesting set of principles you got there.

An who's that make you?

No more interesting than anyone else's, I 'd think. I'm Kakia.

I guess not. Interestin' part's that you admit to it.

Is that right? Guess that makes sense. Namesake, or the genuine article?

Lying gets complicated. Don't see the point in it, really...

And I'd be the one and only, I imagine. Not really the sort of person people tend to name their kids after.

It has its merits, for those of us with shorter memories, I guess. Would've thought you'd be better with deception.

An' I don't know about that. Met plenty'a folk in my time, eat that sort of chaos shit up.

I didn't say I wasn't good at it. Simply that I don't see the point. There are times deception is necessary, but more often then not one can get by with selective truth. Lying about my principles when I've nothing to gain from it? Sounds like an act of shame.

I think I'd be amused if people named their daughter after me. But since Eris gets her fair share named after her, I suppose it's possible.

Can't imagine a lot of people for a goddess to be shamed by, s'true. Well, lucky me, one more thing t'cross off the list.

Better than a world full'a Johns and Nancys, eh? Besides, gives the kids somethin' to strive for.

List? What sort of list?

Funny, giving kids much of anything has never been a high priority. They're really little fun until their tweens.

'Weird shit what's not happened to me yet.' Conversations on morality with a deity was near the top. Good show, you.

But what fun'd they be, without all the horrors of youth? An' a name like that's sure to get a girl her share of playground tauntings, yeah?

Gosh, now there's the sort of list I always hope I make.

Mm.. Not sure. I rather enjoy being unique. The one and only, as it were.

I'm listening.

And I've got a demon that owes me a favor. So I've got a connection.

S'a couple spells, dependin' on just what you're looking for. Pseudo-possessions, strength conduction, that sorta thing.

Which demon, 'en? Not to take your thunder, squire, but I've made my fair share of enemies down below. Don't need you mucking up a favor over someone what's going to try and kill the both of us.

I'll take whatever I can get. So anything you bring to the table is welcomed by me.

A low-life demon, he's not powerful, just a good source for information. I can get him to talk. And he won't be coming after us, you have my word.

Fair enough, then. I'll need t'meet you somewhere, to do the deed. An'- well, you'll have to drink a small flask'a my blood, but that's no trouble for you then, is it, squire?

If that's agreeable, we won't have to bother your low-life just yet. I have managed to come upon some of me effects.

We can meet in my office. It's secluded enough...should work.

And yeah, I have some experience in the blood drinking department.

Tomorrow night after sunset.

I've got a case to wrap up in the morning but everything is free after that.
