Augustin waited in his brother's room for him. He knew where he was, and he had gone from surprise to hurt to anger and now he wasn't sure what he was feeling. His mind was running a mile a minute and he couldn't bear the thought of what Aime was actually doing, or why he would do it.
Antoine.
He couldn't believe their older brother actually thought this was a good idea. There was no talking to their father. Antoine could do no wrong to him. Somehow, he would just have to convince his younger brother against this course of action on his own.
The time ticked by and he waited. No matter how long it took, he would be there, waiting, waiting for Aime to return.
