Dear Jacques,
I am fresh off the boat and have taken up temporary residence in London. In a few days I am to join a Friend in his home beyond the outskirts of the city, but the length of my stay is indefinite and I would like to see the familiar face of a fellow French citizen before I leave.
I leave the arrangements to you, my friend, as I've not yet had the opportunity to acquaint myself with the city.
