as for me, its people writing slash fanfiction about conor oberst and taylor hollingsworth. and then trying/expecting to be conor's best friend. um what?

bright eyes or conor oberst & the mystic valley band?
(and how do you feel about bright eyes ending?)
personally i gotta say i am kinda okay with bright eyes ending. they've been around for fifteen years now and i think thats enough right? its been a while, and i think its been a good run. plus i get the vibe that conor oberst hates bright eyes and is enjoying what he's doing with the mystic valley band. with that said, while i enjoy most of bright eyes' music i think i like everything before cassadaga more. i think what i am trying to say about that is that i like older bright eyes better, his music from i'm wide awake and digital ash, up to cassadaga, is completely different and i thin i like the acoustic whiney bright eyes better. i love the mystic valley band though, but i think its because the band consists of more than just conor and its done in a way that the public can acknowledge that (hence the title conor oberst and the mystic valley band) which i like a lot. it really bothers me when i talk to people who say they only like the mystic valley band for conor oberst rather than everyone else as a whole since it consists of many talented musicians. so, before i go on and on and get completely off topic -- what do you like more the mystic valley band or bright eyes, and whats your take on him ending bright eyes?

cursive or the good life?
as for me i am currently going with cursive because i have listened to them more than i have the good life but i just got a ton of their music so we'll see if that changes i've only listened to one good life album and that was 'novena on a nocturn' i thought it was really good but there is just something about cursive that i like more. my favorite cursive album is probably 'the ugly organ'
