Subject: Counseling Sessions

Hello all,

Whilst this is not the best of ways to introduce myself, I think it's more than an appropriate time. My name's Adelaide Russell and I'm the new school counselor. I'm an ex-student, so I know a few of you from my time here six years ago (Goodness, that's a long time).

Anyway, my office door is open to those who wish to come and talk about what happened; those that were there and those that weren't. This event had affected us all in one way or another.

Please bear in mind that at the moment, whilst these are optional, it is entirely possible they will become a compulsory function. I would hope not; always tends to be better when people come and talk of their own free will.

As usual, everything you say to me will be entirely confidential and kept inside the walls of my office (which is downstairs, near the library).

So feel free to come and visit me, or email and arrange a time if you'd like to do it that way. I have comfortable chairs and cookies.

I hope to see some of you soon.

-Adelaide

Well, it's definitely Sentry Industrial behind this grand evil scheme. Everything I've managed to glean from the airport's systems indicate that they were headed east, but it's entirely possible they changed course once in the air. These guys, they're paranoid. I've never seen this level of security. It's utterly ridiculous. Every time I think I'm getting close, there's another layer of firewalls and encryption that I am damn impressed. They knew someone was going to come after them. Who knows how much more I'll have to dig before I find a location.

I did find something interesting, at any rate, and I know you'd like to see it. I've attached some documents I managed to get off of Sentry's servers, and let me tell you, these fuckers are pretty damn intimidating. I'd go so far as to assume they have been abducting mutants to test these bad boys.

I'll let you know when I find anything useful.

Wolvie, I heard some stuff at work that might help you find your people.

Two guys came in before the evening rush and sat next to the little side stage that I was working. I didn't pay much attention, but they didn't pay attention to me. So I started listening.

They work for the local private airport and have been sent home several times in the afternoons the past few months because of 'top secret security shipments' or something like that. They stayed behind last time and saw a bunch of what could have been old military issue hummers, the kind that would have been retired for a few years, roll through. When they stopped they started off loading bodies, some of them children. Sounds like it might be the guys.

Do you have someone who can hack their computer logs?

I'll keep my eyes and ears open, Logan. Let me know if you need any help when the time comes, k?

Saw you on the TV. Nice bit of riding, there. Wanna explain?

Actually, just meet me in the gym, we've gotten behind on your training.

Heya, Wolvie. Thought I ought to warn you to batten down the hatches and hoist the mainsail. I'm back and I'm sticking. For a while at least.

If you're taking this as your hint to flee, you're smarter than Kinsey ever gave you credit for.

But seriously, babe. How've you been? Judging by the edu on the tag of your email, I'm guessing you're teaching. What do you teach? Advanced growling and snarling?

Love and me,

G.

So I hear you make Einstein feel stupid when you teach Math. I didn't have the heart to tell Jubilee that Math was Einstein's worse subject anyways.

How are you holding up, big guy?

Subject: Heard something from Tony

I just wanted to give you a heads up on an email I got from Tony, I forgot to mention it. There's some kind of anti-mutant group that won a big contract from the government. Normally I'd just shrug but with Brenna getting attacked and mutants disappearing, I'm actually kind of worried.

I'm thinking we need to institute some kind of buddy system, make sure none of the students leave the school by themselves. I don't think any of them are dumb enough to go out at night into the seedier parts of town (well, except John), and at this point I don't want a mass riot on our hands by telling them they can't go out at all.

What say you?

Hey, Andrew.

I was wondering if you'd like to do something, have some company...whatever?

I mean, we don't have to go out anywhere if you don't want to. We could just hang out or something if you'd like?

Hey, I hear you're going on vacation. Good luck with that. Maybe we should go out for drinks before you leave. But hey, that Matty girl's pretty cute. I'd be going on "vacation" with her too.

But anyway, that's not what I'm wanting to talk to you about. I've heard word that one of my competitors just won a major contract with the government. The real kicker? These people are extremely anti-mutant. Well, I say that; they just think that's what the people want to hear, and it will garner them more support - and money. It sounds like they've got a huge project in the works, and from what I can gather, it's not going to be pretty. I'll see what else I can find out, but in the meantime, tell those kids of yours to lay low and stay out of trouble.

Hope you enjoy the cozy little cabin in the mountains.

-Tony.

So, I'll be going back to the Ozarks next week. I was wondering if you'd like to come with me. Not so I can show you off to my parents, though I'm sure my mom would fuss over you. A lot.

Thought you'd might like a vacation. We could spend a couple days in the mountains, just the two of us, in my family's cabin.

And I'd enjoy having some company for the drive down.
