What: Ariel sneaking into Hogsmeade, again

Ariel, as was her weekly tradition at this point, had snuck out to Hogsmeade, this time by herself. She sat at a corner table, sipping on a butterbeer, scouting the younger men in the bar. Hopefully some of the younger fellows who were recently in the workplace were both cute and rich. Once she saw someone she thought was attractive enough, she was going to go talk to him.

Archie had been in the house all day working on his lesson plans for the week. He didn't remember his mother having to work this hard to figure out what to teach and how to teach it, but maybe part of that was that she had already been doing it for a while by the time that she had Archie.

Deciding that he'd spent enough time pouring over books, he left the little house at the end of Hogsmeade and made his way through town. Since he didn't really have anything to do, he thought about going to the school and working on his office and classroom. However, before he did that, he decided to go get a bottle of butterbeer.

Making his way into Three Broomsticks, he slid his eyes over the crowd to see if there was anyone in there that he recognized, someone to talk to over his drink. When his eyes fell on a blonde girl in the corner, they narrowed. Taking his bottle from the bar, he walked over towards her table. "Hey. Mind if I join you? Or is this a rule breaking party for one?" Of course, he was referring to the fact that she was out of the school without permission.

	Ariel looked up and saw Professor Vector. Crap... crap... this isn't good, Ariel thought to herself. She thought that if she tried flirting "innocently", perhaps he'd go easier on her, or even better, not get her in trouble at all. Archie wasn't stupid - he'd been a student at one time and he knew how exciting it was to sneak out into Hogsmeade and explore, have fun. However, he also knew that he couldn't tell her that. He was supoosed to be a teacher - an authority figure - and to tell one of his students that he had done the same things probably wouldn't be this best idea.

Sitting down across from her, he smiled. "So, Miss Windsor, what are you doing out in Hogsmeade this evening. I'm pretty sure there wasn't a trip this weekend."

	Ariel took a sip of her butterbeer and sat up straight in her chair. "I was just going a bit stir crazy in the castle," she said. Stir crazy. He understood that perfectly. It happened to him a lot more often than he wanted to admit. But, of course, that little tid bit would be kept to himself. "No, no papers. I've already graded them all. I was working but got a little bored myself. I was thinking of going up to the castle and working in my office a bit." Taking a swig of his butterbeer, he raised an eyebrow. "I don't suppose that anyone knows you're not in your dorm? It's not really safe for you to be out alone."

	"I told my roommates that I was leaving, and it really isn't that unsafe, I'll be fine," she said, sipping her drink again. Of all people to come talk to her, it was one of her professors - could her night get any worse? Granted, he was young, and fairly attractive, but he was still one of her professors. Raising an eyebrow, Archie nodded. She might have thought it was perfectly safe, but he knew better. "Well, Miss Windsor, I hate to be the one to break it to you, but I know you'll be fine because you'll be back up at the school when you finish that drink." He couldn't just leave her here alone. There were people who were only too willing to take advantage of someone that was young. Besides, the Headmistress would kill him if she found out that he'd left her here.

He wasn't stupid. Of course he noticed that she was taking smaller sips then usual. To be honest, it bothered him that he was the one that would have to guide her out of here...and apparently she was unwilling to go herself. "Sadly, while you are a student at Hogwarts they really can impose as many restrictions as they want. It's been like this forever...or at least the whole time I was a student there." It seemed a little weird to be sitting here talking to a student - especially such a pretty one. He could only hope that no one would catch them here. He'd hate to have to explain this.

	"Pick up chicks? I didn't even realize that people still said that." Laughing softly, he shrugged. "No. I was planning on grabbing something to drink and going up to the school to work. "I was planning on drinking a butterbeer and spending some time away from the castle," she said, lying a bit. She was scouting young, rich wizards, but she couldn't tell her professor this.
