August wasn't at all surprised to see Rose waiting for him; he was almost always running late, and she was one of the most punctual people he knew.
"Hey," he said, sitting down and forcing a smile. He hated that she had to testify, that she had to relive happened to her in front of the Wizengamot, but he knew that she wouldn't have it any other way. Her testimony could put Nathaniel Hedges away for a very long time, and Rose was the kind of girl who would do what she felt was right and just -- even if that meant sacrificing her own comfort.
