WHO: Teddy and Victoire-- and then later Libby
WHAT: Night time
RATING: NC17 likely

Teddy sat in his office reading a paper. It was terrible, he couldn't even make sense of what it was about. He took out his red ink and marked a big T on it in a bold retraced letter. Someone was walking in the hall. The clicking of heals stopped and there was a knock at his door. "Come in."

Victoire stepped inside of his office, wearing one of her cute designer robes. She always had a habit of wearing the best and most fashionable designs, a trait she inherited from her mother.

"Teddy," she cooed with a grin. "I'm so glad you're here."

"Oh, hello." Teddy sat up straight. He might have been with Libby, but he still felt the need to impress Victoire. "How are you? How have you been?"

"Good. I've been busy, and haven't seen you in awhile."

She sauntered in before perching lightly at the edge of his desk. Victoire really did look stunning anyway, but especially when she wasn't working.

"Missed you, I guess."

Teddy stood up and crossed to a book case, pretending to be preoccupied with putting a book back. "I... well I suppose so. We did date for a good while."

Teddy cupped her cheek and pushed her against his desk, grinding his hips into her. She was a hot veela woman, after all. "This."

She gasped breathlessly in surprise, but didn't shrink back from his advances. Her body responded enthusiastically, a leg wrapping around his hip to pull him in closer.

Victoire had wanted this forever.

"Teddy..." she mumbled before crushing her mouth against his.

"Victoire," Teddy muttered. "I still love you." He was laying in bed, flat on his back, his brow furrowed.

There was some mumbling, inaudible, from his lips, and then Teddy suddenly smiled wider.

A moment passed and he was moaning quietly in his sleep. The dream had obviously taken a sexual turn.

What a night. A nasty cold had been spreading throughout the castle, and that meant a never-ending string of patients in the hospital wing. Libby yawned and pillowed her head against Teddy's chest. She'd just administered a late-night dose of pepper-up to a sniffling third year, and now all she could think about was getting a decent night's sleep.

She was just beginning to doze off when Teddy spoke. Her eyelids, which had been growing heavy with sleep, snapped open. Victoire?

She lifted her head to gaze down at him. He was smiling, but definitely asleep. He made some other unintelligible noises then...moaned. And not the "someone-please-wake-me-up-from-this-nightmare" sort of moan, either. She pulled away from him completely, not quite sure what to do.

After a few minutes the dream was over and he fell quiet again. Teddy was completely unaware of anything going on in the bedroom.

Libby tried to reason with herself. It was just a dream, after all. It didn't necessarily mean anything...did it? Sure, he and Victoire dated, but that was ancient history. It was years ago.

Of course, none of that really helped. He was in her bed, dreaming about another girl. Not exactly a confidence-booster.

She sighed and shook his shoulder gently.

"Teddy?"

Teddy stirred awake. When his eyes focused on Libby he smiled, the dream about Victoire totally forgotten. "Hey beautiful."

Teddy stopped breathing, just for a second. He didn't know what to say. Consciously he wasn't aware of that, but now that she'd confronted him, Teddy wasn't sure if he could deny it. "Was I?"

"Yes," she nodded, "you were." She shivered and pulled the covers higher, up to her neck. She wasn't sure she wanted to know the answer to her next question, but it had to be asked.

She flipped onto her side, facing him. They hadn't been together very long, but she really liked him. Perhaps she wasn't in love just yet, but it was only a matter of time - she liked him a little but more each day.

Teddy reached across the small space between them and curled his fingers around her hand. He really tried, and he was a relationship guy, it just was a fact of life that he was going to be hung up on Victoire.
