Who: Rose and OTA
What: Studying? Conversation?
Where: The library
When: Sunday evening
Rating: TBD

Rose was sitting at a table in the far corner of the library, her face buried in a book. She, like her mother, was very into finishing her work well ahead of time. In fact, this paper was not due until the following week, but she already had three feet on the potions essay.

She was so wrapped up in her studies, in fact, that she didn't notice that someone sat in the seat next to her.

[07 Jan 2008|07:40am]
Who: Slytherin Quidditch Team
What: Illegal Butterbeer after practice
Where: Locker Room
When: Monday morning, right before breakfast
Rating: TBA

Brigitte's body was sore and worn out, but her spirits certainly weren't. She clamored into the Quidditch changing room, her bright blue sports bra radiating through her Slytherin practice garb, and her usually white-blonde hair turned butter with sweat.

"I'd say we're doing quite well this season," She breathed heavily to her teammates as they started to get ready for the showers.

"A job well done deserves a just reward."

Grubby hands shuffled around her equipment bag before pulling out several golden bottles of Butterbeer. She was about to say that she had received them from her Uncle George, but had to stop herself, remembering that some of her teammates were Weasley-haters.

"Don't ask where I got them, just drink. They've been spiked with a little extra something to get us going today."

Who: Scarlet and OTA
What: Scarlet's bookbag breaks.
Where: Corridor
When: Monday morning
Rating: TBD

With a goodbye to the Ravenclaws she'd been sitting with at breakfast, Scarlet tugged her bookbag over her shoulder and smoothed out her skirt, heading for the doors. Having some extra time before class, she opted to work a bit on her potions essay. It wasn't due for a while now, but Scarlet knew that doing a piece of it at a time worked much better than waiting until the last moment to do it all at once.

Before she could reach the library, however, the strap to Scarlet's bag decided it was quite finished with holding the weight of her books and ripped at the seam, causing the bag to slide off of her shoulder and down to the floor with a thud. The noise was accompanied by a small squeak of surprise from Scarlet, who quickly bent down to pick up the broken item just in time to realize there was someone behind her.

WHO: Albus Potter and OTA
WHEN: Monday Afternoon
WHERE: A hallway

Al had managed to lose his notes somewhere between his last class and the library. Now he was on a hunt for them, hoping that they had gotten crumpled in a corner and not pitched away. He looked funny, walking with his head down, his eyes trained on the floor.

So funny, in fact, that it could only be compounded when he walked right into someone. He really needed to look where he was walking.

Who: Lily and OTA
When: Monday Afternoon
Where: Library

Lily had been up late studying potions. It wasn't as though she had an exam or anything, she just wanted to make sure she knew it all before they moved on in the class. It was to the point now where she could practically recite the book. She figured that after waking up this morning, it was time for a change of pace. Grabbing her Defense Against the Dark Arts book, she headed to the library. She dropped her bag onto a table in the back where no one else seemed to be and sat herself down.

Cracking the book open, she seemed to lose interest and let herself stare off into space for a while. After all, no one needed to be productive ALL the time.

Who: Bella and OTA
What: Taking a walk
Where: Out by the lake
When: Monday after dinner
Rating: TBA

It had been a choice between writing an essay for Herbology or taking a walk. Needless to say, it wasn't much of a choice. It was a nice night out. She hated when it was too cold or too warm, but this was just the right temperature. It was nice nights like this that allowed her to lose herself in her thoughts, take this time to forget about school and that Herbology essay she knew she had to get around to writing.

Of course, getting lost in ones thoughts had its downside, like not seeing the uneven ground in front of oneself, which is exactly what happened. Bella lost her footing and collided with the ground followed by a thud. Quickly, Bella looked around, hoping that nobody saw.

Who: Katelyn Pucey, and anyone else who'd like to join.
What: Catching up, Eating, Judging People.
Where: Great Hall
When: Dinner time!
Rating: Setting it PG for now.

Katelyn was unamused. Her day hadn't been bad exactly, but it was school. Enough said. Picking idly at a peice of poultry with her fork, she decided that something had to be done, and quickly. The monotany of education hadn't set in, but it was bound to soon, and Kate figured she should head it off at the pass. Make something fun happen before life got lame.

With a dramatic sigh, she set down her eating utensil and dug into her bag which contained an advert for new robes. Propping her chin up in the palm of her hand, she began scanning over the new designs and wishing she had time to go for a little shopping trip. When was the next Hogsmeade visit?

"I'm already tired of this crap, and the first day isn't even over yet," she grumbled to no one in particular.

Who: Fletcher and Cassandra
What: Playing guitar
Where: Courtyard
When: Monday afternoon, before dinner
Rating: PG

Fletcher normally didn't like to play in front of anyone. He certainly wouldn't sing in front of anyone. Instead, he sat on a concrete bench and propped himself against one of the courtyard pillars, playing a tune he'd heard on some muggle CD he'd gotten from a friend.

Playing softly, so as not to make anyone turn and scowl, Fletcher put on his 'guitar face' and went to town. He enjoyed afternoons like this. It was quiet. No one was playing frisbee or whizbee, or Quidditch or what have you.

Who: Chuck and OPEN
Where: Kitchens
When: Late evening, a few hours after dinner, today, whenever that is!
Rating: Meh... We'll see...

House Elves were fantastic creatures, really. They took very little of Chuck's time and energy to manipulate. All he had to do was show up and the little things would be scurrying about, getting him precisely what he wanted, when he wanted it, within reason. And quickly. Their timeliness could not be beat.

It was really quite surprising that he was ever hungry after dinner though, considering anything he could have wanted was spread out on the table in front of him, and he could have as much as he liked, but sometimes something was missing. That, and he didn't ever do his homework until after dinner, so once he'd finished with that, he was always unusually hungry and craving one thing or another. Tonight he wanted a chocolate malt, but it varried from night to night.

However, most nights, he found himself alone (save for the House Elves) in the kitchen. It was quite out of the ordinary to find anyone else in there, but that was precisely what he found when he stepped through the portrait hole that evening. Hopefully that wouldn't slow down the service.
