Hello there and welcome to tistheseason, macvarish’s answer to the secret santa. Joining is up to you. You may participate in any of the following ways 1.) Sign up/join this comm with an anon, December holiday based journal and post the gifts yourselves. 2.) Sign up/join this comm with your character journal and post the present and whom it is to in a drop box where we’ll drop it off for you. 3.) Participate without becoming a member of this “sub” comm.

Everything is anonymous. You will fill out the information sheet below and on December 23rd the posting will be opened up. Think of this as a site to store type deal, you’re giving us the gift the hold onto until your giftee is able to come pick it up.

There will be one giftee to every gifter. Gifts must range between $5 and $50 because, lets face it not everyone in Chicago is able to afford luxurious gifts and no one wants to give expensive gifts to someone they may not even like. Gag gifts are fine but nothing like diet pills for someone that is overweight. You find the gift that fits your giftee the best from various sites around the world wide web.

In addition to being told what is on the information sheet, we suggest maybe reading the giftee’s journal entries or chatting with their friends to get to know what they would like and/or need. This is also a great way to break out of your normal mold and get chatting to other folks.

You may include a card that you either made or find around the www. This is not required.

The posting to the journal will be closed on December 31st.
